The 2nd Action Coordination Unit Meeting under the project “Restoring Marine Ecosystem Connectivity in Southwestern Türkiye with Network of Marine Protected Areas Boosting Climate Change Resilience” took place at our Ministry on 13 March 2026.

The meeting was attended by officials from the European Union Delegation to Türkiye, the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Final Beneficiary and representatives of the contractor.

The meeting began with opening remarks by the European Union Delegation to Türkiye, the Contracting Authority and the Team Leader.

Subsequently, the Draft Initial Report and project activities were reviewed; discussions focused on site visits, communication and visibility. The meeting concluded with a summary of the decisions taken and the action points identified; participants shared their views and assessments regarding the next meeting.
