On 4 March, 2026, at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the “Technical Assistance for the ILBANK Project Implementation Unit (Project Management Consultancy)” project Operational Coordination Unit meeting was held, where the activities carried out and planned within the scope of the project were discussed.

The meeting, hosted by the Directorate of Project Implementation of the Directorate General for European Union and Foreign Relations, was attended by Ms. Elif Torcu ÖZDEN, Sector Manager of the EU Delegation to Turkey, Mr. Arif KARBAK, Sector Manager, Mr. Ayhan TAŞ representing the Directorate of Project Implementation of the Directorate General for European Union and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ms. Selda GÜNGÖR representing the Directorate of Project Preparation and Monitoring, ILBANK officials as the final beneficiary, and representatives of the contractor company.

During the meeting, the contractor delivered a detailed presentation on the work carried out in relation to the project’s objectives, activities, and expected results. The presentation covered the overall project outlook, decisions and follow-up process of the project steering committee, key milestones, findings from field visits, resource utilization, and future projections. Discussions were also held on infrastructure works supported by international funding institutions, the current status of consultancy services conducted under EU grants, and the coordination of Project Management Consultancy.

In the Q&A session, participants shared their views on the progress of the project. The meeting concluded with closing remarks and the agenda item of determining the date of the next Operational Coordination Unit meeting in agreement with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and ILBANK.
