The 16th Steering Committee Meeting of the Hakkari Integrated Solid Waste Management Project was held on 12 December 2025 in a hybrid format within our Ministry, within the scope of the Hakkari Integrated Solid Waste Management Project.

The meeting was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Raci Bayer, Head of the Project Implementation Department of the Directorate General of European Union and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and Head of the Intermediate Body Responsible for Financial Management.

In addition to representatives of the Project Implementation Department, the meeting was attended by representatives of the EU Delegation to Türkiye, the Hakkari Municipalities and Provincial Special Administration Solid Waste Management Union, and the consultancy firm.

The meeting commenced with a presentation on the current status of the project, which is in the provisional acceptance phase, followed by an exchange of information on the progress achieved under the project.

After consultations on the activities to be carried out in the upcoming period, the meeting was concluded.
