Within the scope of the European Union–funded project “Resilient Türkiye Against Disasters,” the 2nd Action Coordination Unit Meeting was held on 23 March 2026 at the Directorate of Foreign Relations of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

The meeting was attended by Ms. Esra HACIALİOĞLU, Head of Group, Directorate of Foreign Relations and International Humanitarian Aid, AFAD, Ministry of Interior; Mr. Güven SEYDİOĞLU, Contract Specialist, Project Implementation Department, Directorate General for European Union and Foreign Affairs; as well as representatives of the end-beneficiary institution, the consultant company, and the contractor company.

Discussions focused on the design and implementation of the stakeholder coordination process, the review and improvement of the methodology, the identification of pilot provinces, the finalization of the draft inception report, the presentation of activities planned for the implementation phase, and the work to be carried out over the next six months.
