ABOUT THE PROJECT Through the Project, it was aimed to provide the district centre with 24-hour uninterrupted safe drinking water supplied from Balık Lake, to collect the generated wastewater and convey it to the wastewater treatment plant planned to be constructed under IPA II funds by means of wastewater collectors, thereby contributing to the creation of a healthier environment in the region.

Within the scope of the project;

  • Construction of a drinking water treatment plant with a capacity of 34,500 m³/day and serving a population of 98,000
  • 57 km ductile main transmission pipeline and associated structures
  • 6 water reservoirs with a total capacity of 15,200 m³
  • 202 km urban drinking water distribution network
  • 12,000 household connections and water meters
  • one drinking water pumping station

was carried out.
