| ABOUT THE PROJECT | Within the scope of the Project, a wastewater treatment plant with an average flow of 175,000 m³/day and a capacity of 861,837 population equivalent was designed and constructed by the Contractor, and training on operation and maintenance was provided to the staff of DİSKİ.
Within the scope of the Project, by rehabilitating the existing plant that carried out physical treatment, it was transformed into a facility capable of advanced biological treatment. In the facility capable of removing carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus, the stabilization of the sludge is carried out in anaerobic sludge digesters. By using the biogas generated in anaerobic sludge digesters, a certain portion of the facility’s energy demand is met. |
