Within the scope of the “Determination of Industrial Emissions Strategy of Turkey in Accordance with Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control” (DIES) Project, “Dissemination Seminar”, where all project outputs prepared for the sectors within the scope of IPPC were presented with a green vision, was held on January 16, 2024.

As a continuation of the event, the Project Closing Meeting was held on January 17, 2024 at Ankara Bilkent Hotel & Conference Center with the attendance of our Deputy Minister, Ms. Fatma VARANK.

In her speech, Deputy Minister Varank said that, as the Ministry, they believe that it is possible to produce without polluting. Pointing out that while production and development in the industry continues, they ensure the effective protection of the environment, Varank said, “We are taking our work one step further with our ‘green transformation in industry’ move included in the ‘Turkey Century Project’ announced by our President, and by acting with common sense with our industrialists, we are taking our country’s We work with the belief that we will be one of the pioneers of green development.” she said.

The Closing Meeting was also attended by Virve Vimpari, Head of the Green Development and Inclusive Growth Department of the EU Delegation, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay,Director General of European Union and Foreign Relations, Asst. Assoc. Dr. Hüseyin Bayraktar, Director of Environmental Management Recep Akdeniz and many related participants attended.
