The 17th Operation Coordination Unit Meeting,within the scope of the Technical Assistance Project for the Preparation of River Basin Management Plans in 6 Basins supported within the scope of the European Union Pre-Accession Assistance Instrument IPA-2 period, will be held on 27 February 2024 with participation from the Multi-Purpose Meeting Hall of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Zoom platform. 

Water Management General Manager Afire SEVER, Water Management Deputy General Manager Dr. . Yakup KARAASLAN, EU Delegation to Turkey Environment and Sustainable Development Sector Coordinator Elif TORCU ÖZDEN, Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, General Directorate of EU and Foreign Relations, Head of European Union Investments Department and IPA Director Assoc. Dr. İsmail Raci BAYER, and Contract Manager Nurnisa ELÇİN, representatives of the General Directorate of Water Management, managers of the consortium consisting of DAI Global, NFB Engineering and Consultancy and ACC Consultancy, and 48 people from the Technical Assistance Team attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the progress of the project between December 21, 2023 and February 27, 2024, activities planned for the next month, delays and revised work plan, project activities that could not be realized, addendum for study visits, and other issues were discussed.

The Operation Coordination Unit Meeting ended after receiving the opinions and comments of the participants.
