ABOUT THE PROJECT Objective of the Project

Through this project, Türkiye will prepare Species Action Plans and a National Species Conservation Strategy for endangered species, particularly those listed as priority species in Annex II of Council Directive 92/43/EEC of 21 May 1992. In line with the Directive on the conservation of natural habitats, wild fauna and flora, and Council Directive 2009/147/EC of 30 November 2009 on the conservation of wild birds, the project is designed to contribute to the protection of endangered species in Türkiye and to support the development of institutional capacity.
