ABOUT THE PROJECT Overall Objective of the Project:

Ensuring a high level of protection of human health and the environment in Türkiye through the effective implementation and enforcement of the Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).

Specific Objective of the Project:

  • Strengthening the existing capacities of public and industrial institutions regarding Chemical Safety Assessment
  • Improving chemicals management under the REACH Regulation through updating the Chemical Registration System in line with the IUCLID version and integrating the Chemical Safety Assessment and Reporting System into the CRS

Project Results:

  • Developing/strengthening the capacity of key groups and decision‑makers within the relevant institutions
  • Enhancing the existing Chemical Registration System (CRS)
