| ABOUT THE PROJECT | The rehabilitation of the existing Erzurum clean water distribution network, the rehabilitation of streams, the construction of wastewater collectors, and the construction of a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 130,000 m³/day were carried out.
The objective of the Project is to provide a wastewater management system for the city of Erzurum, thereby reducing the pollution load in the Karasu River and ensuring that wastewater discharge is carried out in compliance with EU and Türkiye standards. Thus, the improvement of the wastewater and stormwater collection systems was achieved, and the drinking water, stormwater, and wastewater systems of Erzurum were enabled to operate more efficiently.
