ABOUT THE PROJECT Overall Objective of the project is:

To support the accession process by ensuring Türkiye’s compliance with environmental protection and EU wastewater sector directives.

Specific Objectives of the Project:

  • Establishment of administrative and technical capacity in Sorgun Municipality,
  • Provision of technical assistance to the Water Affairs Directorate of the Municipality for the modernisation and for establishing and operating an efficient water and wastewater unit,
  • Provision of construction supervision for the wastewater treatment plant in accordance with the FIDIC Yellow Book.
